Wetterspitze | Cima del Tempo

To the north above the small Italian town of Ridnaun is Wetterspitze or Cima del Tempo, one of the many nearby peaks that surround this town at the end of a valley. Ridnaun often hosts international level biathlon competitions and I had the opportunity to race on the IBU Cup in this cool part of Italy but when I narrowly missed the qualification for a pursuit competition placing 61st in the sprint when only the top 60 make it I decided to make the most of my spare time in this mountainous area of Europe by going for my first summit outside of Canada!
